I'm not going to accuse you of nitrous, but did you break boost when these races happened? That is a common thing when going from a roll to get the jump on another car before you both take off. I know many people who do it but dont admit it when they do.

I think he means did you step on the brakes and the gas to load the motor up and build boost before you took off.
I am interested in this thread since I have a similar story... but we put the Xede in my friend's car and OMG what a difference.. I'm not posting times since there was an air of disbelief last time.
FWIW I didn't pressurize my system, but I did check hose clamps on the intercooler couplers last night and almost all of them felt loose!! I cranked down all the ones I could get to without removing th lower lip off the bumper we'll see what happens once I get the others clamped down and I get my Xede back.

But you can ask the guys in NTEC who have seen me race, my brake lights don't come on until someones winning.

BTW if you are on a flat surface with a manual trans you don't need brakes.
And a tail/brake light cut-out switch is also something that comes in handy at times

Seriously, sounds like something bad is going on with the 3 cars that you are killing, or something really good is going on with your car... That kind of lead should take a huge difference in power.
