Dyno Results

Once again, had a great time and ended up with a GREAT running car!

The V3 update smooths things out a bit and the CEL eliminator made the check engine light a thing of the past.

Everyone I meet on Sunday morning was extremely nice (thanks to smoggy and Kim for the coffee run) and of course, it was a pleasure hanging with Shiv and the TT crew.

My results are posted below. I have the stage 1+ package.

On a side note: I purchased the Magnacore 8.5mm plug wires before the dyno day. We tested the wires on the dyno.... how about a loss of 2hp and a rougher hp graph. What a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday March 6
1.) jkim 2001 aka jon 2005 Stage 1+ with Cat 91 octane Xflash only. (paid in full for tuning) 315whp/315tq
2.) Livesports 91/100 stage1+ a) 314.92 whp and 318.24 wtq b) 348.27 whp and 326.06 wtq
3.) Bonestockevo8 - custom tuned Xflash (deposit paid)
4.) Masterblaster (1 ++ tune for 91 oct and C16) (tuning paid in full)

8.) Self.one - custom Xflash (deposit paid/paid in full 3/1, right Vishnu?)
9.) Alex Alex - (1++) 100 octane map, p0420 fix (deposit made but not confirmed by Vishnu)
10.) Jun - Evo Xede tune (will contact Vishnu Thursday 3/3 for payment)

I had a great time there, the people there were awesome and so was the crew from Vish. My car was giving Shiv a hard time but he stuck it out until the end, and after 39 pulls on the dyno he was content enough to let me drive off w/ the car. I posted my results below. I did ride in a stage 1+, and I will definitely be upgrading in the future.

So car works great I'm lucky in that my evo seems to take mods well, and once again its running very strong I didnt expect to get upsold but honestly cant complain, car pulls well power is very smooth, havent had issue 1 with the car and it now has 300 miles since the install.

Finally read through all the Xede stuff on the site, most of it makes sense but if anyone has any tips or other info I should know please point me that way.

thanks.

I ran out of gas on dyno on Saturday and made 283WHP on crappy cheveron. I was on empty when I dynoed and had to put 2 gallons of cheveron in and by the end of 91 tune I had no more gas I will be back at Tunning Tech to dyno my car with 76 tommorow morning Shiv thinks I will gain WHP with more gas and better gas. I will not put crap gas in this time and will have alot of 76 gas.

I will post my new dyno sheet on Tuesday.

An evo with just a catback and XFLASH made 270WHP and 270TQ with 76 gas on Sat (smoggy never posted the results). Shiv said that 76 is the best and that cheveron is not good. The guys at TT said that 76 gas is close to 92 Good thing is that if you can't get to 76 your car will run well with crap gas

Wow, 494AWHP, damn to the Cobra owner on SVTperformance.com that challenged him. Dude said his Cobra made 490WHP (3800Lbs) I told him he was picking on the wrong EVO. Too bad they live kind of far from eachother (cali and texas), I would have loved to have seen that race.
