Hey all,

I am hoping that after the wave of Shiv's custom tunes all over the united states we will see some 1++, 2,3 and other comon combination maps pop up on their site and on here. It is not often feasible for people to get out to these events and it is a hurdle in the quest for more power. Could we start some sort of download area for maps on here? We could then compare maps and learn some basics on our own...
I also wish we could get Vishnu to develop a cheaper turbo kit solution for a stage 2.....I can always dream can't I.

Yea... Ive wondered why no one really post their maps.. Is it a no,no or something???
Im use to maps being posted everywhere... for other motorsports

 

ill give up my maps. for 25 bucks a piece. i paid a pretty penny for these things

i got stage 1+ pump and race octane
stage 1++ pump and race octane.

 

The problem is each car is different. If you get custom map you better dyno the car since you don't know if the tune is safe for your car.

i guess since most ppl spent $350-400 for custom tuning and dyno, they aren't willing to just give it away to any random person on the board.

 

Some of us have 0 dyno options

 

Great idea. I've always shared my maps for free. Others have hooked me up too, like EZ76, back when I first got my cams. Thanks Evan.

 

that's a good idea and i have no problems sharing my maps.

 

I was able to squeeze a 300 mile trip before my vacattion and will now get 1++ custom tuned next week. Yea...... I would like a place to post my maps (for free of course). I will also try to get people at the tune session to post their maps as well. This would be great so we can all compare and check out the differences between the cars. If there are none or very little, I am sure we can come to a concensus on a safe base map for 1++ and a few other comon mods. We all bought the Xede so we could download maps as we upgrade but if that means getting a custom tune every time, we might as well have saved the money and gotten reflashed.. If anyone reads this that could potentially get a spot on evom to post our maps, let me know. I'll get the ball running and put my 1+ custom map and in a few weeks my 1++...

I hope you guys noticed the sarcasm in my post about $25 bucks. I just reread it and it sounds like i was serious.

 

^^ Damn. I was gonna try to charge $20 and corner the market. Actually, I am getting a 1++ tune at Turbo Trix in early April and I will gladly share my maps if Shiv doesn't have a problem with it.

This is a good idea .....
Its also a good idea to list your complete list of mods as well as their brand (eg: HKS, Helix, etc) when you share maps ....

 

Now if someone can set-up a place to download maps with a full mod list, that would be great...
