gvr4v. So if I am understanding this correctly, I would have to drive my car down to the dealership, swap the new ECU into the vehicle there, then have them flash the ECU to match my keys?
That is the way I would do it...although make sure the only thing the dealer does is sync the imobilizer on the key to the new ECU so it starts.....do not alow the dealer to flash in a P0300 fix (that does not work) as this may cause problems with installing the xedeflash

Your're right do not let the dealer by any means flash your ECU with the new P0300 flash for the misfire. Shiv will not be able to do anything with it. I'm working with Mitsu right now trying to get my ecu flashed back to what it was before. I never had a random misfire they just reflashed my ecu because it was an update. I drove 6+ hours for a Dyno day with Shiv in Dallas and he couldn't do anything with my ecu. As it is the with the Xede in I'm hitting the fuel cut off and have eratic idleing because of this stupid P0300 flash. Be careful if your taking your car to the dealership, they had several TSBs so I let them do them all while I was there. Now I'm trying to get it reversed and from what I'm understanding I might be **** out of luck unless the Mitsu tech line can help us out.
