Why havent us Xeders havent caught on to alky injection
Well, it's not for lack of trying. I had an alky kit installed and was going to have it dyno tuned last weekend but when they got the car on the dyno the alky nozzle that goes into the upper IC pipe was leaking so no joy there. I just ordered a hard pipe from Buscher and will see about switching out the stocker. I'm going to give MZM in Austin a call and see if they might be able to tune for it until I can get Shiv to do it if and when he comes back to Texas.
I'll let you know how it goes....... The saga continues........

I am installing an SMC kit (Buschur) presently, and will dyno tune it with Shiv in one week. The injection fluid will be 100% methanol, and I will implement a tuning strategy that will provide the most power available from this kit with my configuration. I will report then.

QUOTE=Toddevo 8]no v3 update yet.[/QUOTE]
Actually, there's close to a hundred v3 users now. Within the next two weeks, there will be 75-100 more. I'm updating them all personally (during all our out-of-state dyno days) and will, from all the maps generated, post up a whole new array v3 baseline maps. While it is possible to translate a v2 map into a v3 map, one does have to make some changes to the low load areas of the fuel and timing maps. It's pretty easy to do but documenting it well enough so that people don't mess up their maps is the tough part. Hence, me doing it all myself during all these dyno days.
If you want to update your XEDE to v3 specs Todd, go right ahead and do so. Just put your XEDE into boot mode by bring pin 9 on the black connector to a 12v source. Use XUpdate to load in the new firmware file. This takes 30 seconds. Then open up your old v2 maps using XMap v.3. You will notice some MAF scaling differences at low load. Adjust them as you see fit. Email me for the firmware file and you can have at it (sales@vishnutuning.com). To everyone else, I suggest waiting until after all these dyno days are over (in 3 weeks) when I'll actually have some time to provide additional support. Same goes for methanol applications. One of which I'm mapping for Turbo magazine's project EVO in LA on Monday.
Regards,
Shiv
