Thumbs up v3 solved my P300 misfire prob!!!!

now that I have the v3, my misfire code has not come back to interrupt a good run! I just broke in my T.C. so I took the car out and gave the car all it had.No misfire code. I used to get it very frequently( every other cycle thru the gears while hard on the gas). v3 is super smooth, idle and all throughout the power-band, I know theres no HP gain with the v3, but it just feels damn faster! great job!!!

when you throw the misfire code, does it put the ECU in limp mode or anything?

No, when it would hit. (which it never did until I got it dynoed) it would sound like small machine-gun fire, and you would hear the sound until you take your foot off the gas, at which time you could hear a "pop" out the tail pipe. I got used to it as soon as I heard/felt the stutter, my foot got off the gas, and immediatley back on the gas-problem solved until it happened possibly in the next gear. when the machine gun sound is present, if you stomp the gas further, the sound would stay, and you would have no power-band, it was like you were coasting with a machine-gun noise.

hah, i got my first one mid lap at the track too. i thought it was because the gas light just came on and i ran through a increasing radius turn at mach 2 and i got some air in the gas line. till i threw a code, lol.
