All he had to do is get his c-16 tune more dialed in and he likely would of got low 11s but he quit and gave up.
Tomi G FWIW patience is a virtue and eventhough my car had a couple issues after the turbo upgrade my patience has paid off. IMO ur car was close to runnin real great times for ur level of mods but you chose to give up and blame Shiv for ur cars times. I saw ur car trap 125mph I believe on one run but run in the 12s from what I remember. UR terrible 60 fts were the norm that day we went and 2.1-2.3 60ft were not goin to get u a great time. Ur revlimiter,ur 60 fts, shifting all have an affect on ur ET. In my mined u blew it when u severed ur relationship with Shiv and if u would of took my advice ur car would of been deep into the 11s right now.
Ron, you have no place to talk, about either me or my brother in regards to our Vishnu past.
The way you are telling it here on the internet is far from the truth.
I suggest you back up there Bud.

But if you want to open the door,....

Evo toms car was a beast plain and simple. The one 11.5 pass @ 125 with 2.1 or 2.3 60 is indicative of what teh car was capable of. With a decent 60 the car would have it 11 flat and with a litle tweaking it would have been the 10 sec full street trim daily driven car we all wanted to see. I can still remember how excited i was when i saw that car makin 470 whp on a practically bone stock 4g63. Everyone was excited. i wish it was given a few more chances. (i dont know all the details regarding what happened between you and shiv but theis is how i feel about the amazing car evotom built)

Mark I do not understand how I am not tellin it how it is. Yes I remember the hose blowing off on ur Bros car and breaking the radiator. When u replaced the radiator the boost line was not installed properly and it was rectified by Shiv et al
and retuned. Car ran great on 100 0ct map but the c-16 map was disappointing at the track. So was mine and I have since dealt with it by switching to VP 109 and I made the same power on the dyno and it runs great in the real world. U know me Mark and I have told u that ur Bros car is doing a lot better than a lot of cars out here with many more mods and AEM Ems. U and ur Bro were expecting too much IMO but low 11s were possible but still not good enough.

i have come to the understanding that when one tries to make alot of power there are going to be set backs... and if the set backs are of the minor variety then this is a blessing. The only way to get a car that runs low 11's to high tens every time reliably is to buy one out of the factory if you can find one.

IIRC, Evotom's car was making those numbers with regular tires, not the stock Advans or some nice RA1's...

wow.. see then its really no ones fault.. put some sticky tires on that beast and it would have cut some amazing times. (if the diffs held all the power that is)

I helped him reinstall his MBC and asked him to wait for Shiv to finish with the tuning so he can address your issues. Az3ar was up set that Shiv did not drop everything and help him. I told him to hold on for Shiv to finish tuning the customers with dyno time, but he chose not to do so and left saying he will find another.

I just wanted to make things very clear. The car was running fine except for a Check eng. Light that had really nothing to do with the tune or neither Xede nor Shiv’s tuning.

I just wanted to clear this up to everyone because I was there and have been reading posts that are not exactly true or factual.

My Best

Good way to bring the fight back to life, just more drama for the enternet.

Drag racing is ghey... It's like going to Magic mountian, waiting in the lines for hours for 30 seconds or less of fun, but worse.

Ps. HI Ron, HIII

The way i look at it... i would rather spend 200+ on road racing, then paying 10-20 on drag racing. Waste of fuel, tranny ( <3 for WRX glass trannies ) time, and talent. Oh, and in Mark's aspect (and many others)... it was not cheap (this comment is in good fun, no flaming or freaking out please, TIA)
