Hesitation above 3K

I posted in this thread at the bottom of the second page https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...3&page=1&pp=15

Is anyone else having this problem or know of a possible resolution?

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

You have tried to bolster the octane? Are you custom tuned? Miles on plugs?

Hey Colin, look at the gap on the plugs, the 4G63's are pretty picky when it comes to gapping. I think that most people have had luck in the 27-28 range, but you might want to do a search. Under certain conditions the plugs simply will not arc without having a relativly small gap. Just a thought.

I'll check Joey - the head worked fine - As per Andrew just one line at the back that had to be changed. Portflow did great work - I'll email you some additional pics when I get a chance.

I was custom tuned by Shiv at the last Atlanta Dyno4mance day.

I have let my tank go down to the light and tried the following gas to date: Mobil, Shell, Citgo - no difference. I used an octane booster with the Citgo tankfull and an injector cleaner with the Shell tankful. No difference.

I will drain my tank completely tommorrow and try 110 leaded on my pump gas map to see if that makes a difference.

Does anyone else have an Autometer gauge plugged into their manifold (pre turbo) - I would like to know what EGTs you guys are seeing in 4th and 5th.

I really appreciate the help - love my car, just want to get it running right.
