anyone using their XEDE yet and the launch control.?

havent heard anything yet, or actually I dont even have v3 yet. still waiting on the next dyno days at Dyno4mance, that way i dont have to worry about downtime.

 

V3 beta doesn't implement launch control yet (it gave me this message when I tried setting it). They are still working on it last time I spoke with Dustin.

 

for some reason i thought i had seen mention of v2 already having it, but as a 1 time deal per off/on of the car.

 

I remember reading this as well but I never tried setting it when I had V2. That's the main reason I called Vishnu after seeing that text box pop up while messing with my newly V3'd Xede.

 

hmmm...i havent even hooked up the laptop to my v2 XEDE yet, but does that option even exist in that Xmap?

 

Yea, in the special options tab or menu or something like that. Look for where it says launch control and it has a rev limit default of about 99999 rpms (something to the extent that only a turbine engine could reach, lol), just have to reset that. Sorry if I'm not a big help, I forget how xmap v2 looks, it's been awhile.

 

yeah thats what i figured. So has anyone used the launch control with v2 or the new v3?? interesting. Would shiv or anyone from Vishnu, care to chime in?

 

It's funny, launch control was supposed to be implemented in V3, and it was one of the big selling points for everyone to become beta testers of the V3 setup. Does anyone have it working?
