I get the connect error only on the new XMAP v3 . Xupdate works fine.

Hmmm, I wonder why I get it when I load the new xmap? I get it on both laptops...but it does connect with xede

I get the com 1 error as well EVERYTIME I open xmap. I am still able to connect to my xede and upload/download maps just fine. Weird problem. Will vishnu ever answer this thread?

Crap what am I doing wrong? same error com1 ARRGG! this is on a Dell 8600
v3.02.9 does not give the error.

Ignore the com1 error code. It will still work.
