Here's your launch control enabled map. Just make sure you wire up the clutch switch as per the directions. The launch/NLS limit is set to 6500rpm, btw. This worked out the best for us.
Not sure what your question is. What numbers are you talking about?

on that link, there is the xupdate code thing(xcode v3203). when i click on it, i get a bunch of numbers...thats it. In step 9 of the instructions it mentions using this for something to do with xupdate....but i don't understand what.
thanks

I just recieved my xede and smart today, so i'm trying to put together the entire install procedure..
your site only shows 03-04 basemaps, i assume these are close enough to use on the 05? will smart basemaps be out anytime soon?
do i do anything with this two-conductor red wire that comes off of the ECU connector, outside of the xede wiring harness? i dont see reference to it anywhere...
i was in the second batch of smart kits, got it today, but did not include the extra wire terminated for launch control.
ok i think that will get me started, thanks for the help!!

yeah that file just displays as code if you just trying to open it. Use it through Xupdate or the update firmare option in xmap and it will load new firmware into your xede.....its easy
I have the smart stuff installed, and for the most part it seems to be working correctly exept I do not have an RMP pickup any more. The A/F and knock seem to be picking up (although on a mild run up to 6000 in second I did not see more the 21% on the knock table and it reads 14-15% at idel?) but I have no RPM reading. Also I tried to do a data log and I got an error saying that the comm port 1 was already in use, I am using a usb0serial adapter off of comm port 8 and it picks up and sends/recieves the Xede. Would no RPM cause the data logging not to work and what wire picks up RPM? I wrote in another thread that my black connector does not have the orange piece in it, but the pins looked to have lined up correctly when I plugged it back in.

It appears the new load points are designed to give you more granular control of when the boost solenoid is shut off durring low load situations. I zero'd out 18 and below on my map, perhaps Shiv can give a definitive answer?

Also could someone point me in the right direction for the launch controls? I am not seeing it anywhere....i;m also not hooked up to my car

(dumb joke)Shiv
hey shiv, how about a quick rundown on how to use the datalogging features?
mostly looking for a key of the logged variables, as well as how to log what the SMART system is doing to fine-tune basemaps.

Thanks
