Launch control toggle...

Just to let you guys know, because its an ingenious idea.....

Talked with Dustin, he passed along an idea to put a toggle on your clutch wire signal so you could turn launch control off with the flip of a switch. GENIOUS!!!!

Anyway, easiest wiring in the world, just cut the clutch wire you have going to your xede and wire a 2 pin toggle switch to it. When you turn the switch on, you have nasty launch control and NLS.....turn it off, and its like it was never there!

sounds kinda like a waste of time to me... with the limit set high anyway, what would be the point? Just a pretty switch if you ask me?

well, #1 mine is set at 6k....its not that high, and messes up rev match shifting. anything above 6k is too much to launch on IMO. also, i have a habit of riding with my foot resting on the clutch....if i decide to nail it, feels like i run into a brick wall when i hit the 6k rev limit.

in other words, i do too much spirited carving of corners to have it on all the time....im sure there are others like me, just wanted to let the know how easy it is to turn it off....

no, the clutch doesn't even come close to moving any of the hydraulic parts with the clutch pedal engaged 1/2". But, if you blow on the pedal the damn first switch knows it.
