How about at low rpm's like between 1000-3000 rpm's do you have a taping sound when the car is at normal operating temperature , see when the car is at normal temp. I don't have the taping sound at idle but have it at 1000-3000 rpm's is that normal ?

I am so used to it by now, Im not sure when it does it, I will pay attention to it and let you know when it happens, Im sure its normal though. I have a sidepipe comming out the driver side, and the electric motor to divert the exhaust out the back is in for repair, so............its really loud right now, and all I hear is the super loud exhaust and the lopey idle. I wont be much help till I get my "motor" back in (1 week)
