A 3 port solenoid would be a GM BCS.. Its easy enough to use, you'd need a 1 watt, 10 ohm resistor.. I posted in another thread that I had played around with this, but the stock solenoid is normally closed and actually resulted in boost spiking on the stock ECU under different circumstances.. 0% duty would mean full boost, and 100% duty would mean lower boost.. This isn't the hardest thing to map with the Xede though, but you may not get the exact results you'd expect. You wouldn't need to use the restrictors in this configuration though, but you might need a small pinhole to bleed off excess pressure between the wastegate and the solenoid since its a 2-way valve.. A 3 way valve would bleed that pressure off when it changes position..

Like I said, I was playing with this early on before I went to the GM BCS and had not-so-great results..

Just use the fricken MBC by itself or get a bleeder so you can up your boost.

That being said the stock turbo isn't gonna like you very much if you run it at 25psi all the time. You might as well just upgrade the turbo if you are really looking to run higher than 20PSI.

He's got the WR. I think it's more boost friendly.

Then why even deal with the stock BCS? Slap the MBC on there and go.
