vishnu stage 1

How much hp could i expect to gain with the vishnu stage 1? I have the 3" turbo back and AEM short air ram.

A turboback really doesnt provide substance gains, unless you are coupling it with other parts. I would say that you are making 15 or so more horsepower than stock with the turbo back, and a few of those horsepower may be eatin up by the intake. With that said, I would say that you still have another 65 to 70 horsepower on the table with a stage 1 upgrade.

Of course these are just estimates, as I do not know what 3" exhaust you have, or how strong your car is.

I say put your stock airbox back on, and shelve the short ram until you get it tuned. I still have the stock box, miss the wooosh sound I had with the RMR intake kit, but enjoy the power with the stock box more. ( of course use the K&N drop in filter)

My cone filter, messed up my MAF sensor, and I lost HP, put the stock airbox back on! putting the cone filter on, nice woosh sound, but less HP, unless you dyno tune it.

I think i'm going to send out my ecu. I just don't feel like reinstalling the air box. The car seems to be running very well with the AEM short air ram. I noticed a huge difference in power when i changed the exaust.

Here is my VISHNU stage 1 results with custom tune from Shiv. A stock 03 does 220WHP on this dyno while 05 does around 240WHP

So gained around 78WHP on 91 and 103WHP on 100

91 and 100
