Unhappy Launch Control HELP! almost blew up my ride!

Just a question. I have hooked up the wires to my XEDE as directed. And then I assumed that was it!do you actually have to ENABLE it thru the XEDE? I assumed once the wires are connected, the launch control was enabled. correct or incorrect? if I have to enable it thru the XEDE, I DIDN"T! the video on the other thread, is me flooring it, bouncing off the rev limiter!!!

Incorrect.

Read the directions: http://www.vishnutuning.com/Smart/SM...20Tutorial.htm

EDIT: you might also want to make sure you have a launch control capable template from here: http://www.vishnutuning.com/secret/.

Got it! any part you want me to take to the limit and then some? Thank god the rev-limiter worked! That is why it stumbled at the start, it wasn't violent, nor hard when I took off. didn't hear any wierd sound, nor smelled anything funny. I think I am ok on this one! wheew!

I think this is just a novelty, not something you would want to do at every light. I will try it a couple times (the correct way) and then forget about it. I gotta keep the parts I have!

I wont blow it up, watch the video (I cant watch it anymore!) the start, it fell on its face, and didnt put alot of strain on the important parts. Are you vying for E2L's seat? If I go extreme mod. over the winter, there will be only 1 driver ME! cant risk busting it up then. AMS GT42R? hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

AMS GT42R? Plan on running race gas 24/7? Shooting your a$$ to the moon? Building a rocket? You realize 25,000 MPH is escape velocity for the earth's atmosphere. ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
