That's amazing, keep up the good work.
I'm excited to see this development unfold.

Attached is a screen shot of a NLS/LC map supporting vehicle speed dependent no lift shift / launch control. The map's configuration (load/y-axis, input, output) are identical to the standard Vishnu configuration. The difference is that PWM0 is now a function of vehicle speed over a y-axis range of 0% to 95%. When the clutch is engaged, PWM0 is equal to 100%. Note that I set the launch RPM at a low number for casual testing.

I also attached the maps that I had running on the car tonight. I ran out of time so no pictures.

Here is some video of a launch and a first gear shift, demonstrating speed dependent rev limits.

Sorry for the quality (compression) of the video, as well as the fact I had to split it into two files. I also dropped a little of the run up in first gear to save space. There is a 100KB limit per file...

Hey Shiv, what are the possibilities of incorporating this into the XEDE on your end?

nice work freedom....

BUT, all this technical talk confuses the **** outa me...so you gonna have to break down what i need to do in order to get speed dependant launch control into retard terms.

i want no part of NLS, just launch control....therefore 3mph i want that crap shut off.....0-2.9mph rev limit of 5500

that possible?

In that case the region above the lowest row would be set to zero. In simple terms rows represent the vehicle speed, thus 0 is stopped and 90 is really moving.

See attached for an example...

also, if it works like that we could actually have speed dependent fuel management, right? i mean, if you pull any fuel out at any rate of speed other than 0 you are pulling extra fuel out while you are driving....wouldn't want that, would ya?

If you read above, when the clutch is not pushed the module forces a 100% (y-axis) condition, where the 100% row is equal by definition to 0 or no fuel removed.

And to answer your other question, if only two people want this stuff then it most likely will never be made available.

I can tell you this much... if you had a location in your profile, I'd be knocking on your door for the temp compensating boost control....

I can imagine it already: the XEDE SMART system with the FREEDOM module.

This thread rocks. I've been using a MBC for a while which makes temp based boost settings easy, but very "Neanderthalian" LOL. When it is cold out, I pop the hood and back the MBC off a 1/4 turn. Etc.

Hey, it is this kinda thread that must drive these guys crazy: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=158051
