I know, I thought you would stop back! Maybe next time. I just took it out again, and ripped it up country roads, highways from stops etc... so everything was warm/expanded etc... I tried to make it do the "familiar" sound at WOT, and NOTHING. I guess it is gone for good!

Another note, the noise in my glove box is now gone also. Don't know why, or how it correlates to the coil issue, but I guess I just killed 2 birds with one stone!

I should just wear a "muscle-shirt" and look tough, and leave the torquing to someone else. The Methanol is next on the list, now that I got over that misfire problem, which I was chasing for over a Year! When I went to Putnam Park, every time I got to the straitaway, the pop-pop at 19psi held me back! I cut the wires to the meth kit, AND THEN some, which caused me to flood out the Methanol on the ground. so my tank is now empty! (unplugged and turned off of course!)
I will mess with it during the week! stop by sometimes!

I am a very quiet, and subdude kind of guy, didn't want to tell you all my problems, and besides, I might of had to steal your coilpacks when you left for FLA if I couldn't fix my problem today! I will be comming down to get my splitter back from repair soon. (trailer loading injury ) I will call you. Take care,
Kevin

just a small tip for ya, make 2 ( 8 gauge) ground wires, one for each coil, use open end wire ends on the coil side, and run them to a tranny bolt.. its serves as a better ground point for the coils, and using and opened end one the coils, you can give the wires a little tug every time you check the oil.. better than pulling the cover to check the bolts... it cost me a whopping 2 dolllars to make them.. and 20 mins..

Great tip farmer, you always have the answers! I will do that. Do you have any skinny fingers to re-type what you said? its hard to follow, and I want to do it right!
Thanks again.

Man I had this same problem. I ended up going back to stock wires, for better connection to the plugs and using Time-serts to repair my stripped out coil bolt holes in the valve cover. For those who have experience the pain you can have with using helicoils I REALLY recommend Time-serts, they are my hero

Where were you a week ago mitsuorder? I never heard of these Time-serts, but will use them next time. Thanks for the info. I did have the same problem with stock wires, and Pre-HKS DLI II hooked up.

I didn't think I was the only one who stripped out the bolts, the magnesium cover is too "soft"
