The highlighted cells will move some what linearly through the map. Are you using a USB to Serial adapter? It shouldn't be skipping cells like that on a good 3rd gear pull.

It is happening all the time, even when I look at the RPM guage in Xede it has a lag. There is no immediate response.

On Xmap 3.2 go to file\preferences then click on the Maps tab and change the "operating point update rate " to 100-200ms.

BTW Mine defaults back to 3000ms and tracer updates slooow, whats up with that?

Jorge T mine says 3000ms I will change that and see what is the behavior.

Shouldn't 3000ms update be much quicker than 100 or 200ms one?? Yes whats up with that??

3000ms is 3 full seconds where 100ms is 1/10th of a second and 200ms is 1/5th of a second. Much faster update rates.

You are right, for some reason I was looking at it differently, I was thinking of 1/3000 s don't know why. Stupid me

I was looking for some information on the operating point update as well. Is it a defect with the software that we cannot change this value from 3000 ms? Would it be beneficial to increase the baud rate that the com port runs on as well?
