this is actually the same as the jdm rs turbo it has both the ti and the mg parts inside.

the turbo that comes in the rs is the one that has all the lightened goodies inside. and it has all of them. so right now in japan (figuratively speaking) if they're not running the mg wheel they still have the ti wheel on the turbine. THAT'S what you want... that's the tme9

We have to wait for Shiv's dyno to be moved first before we get any results on race gas for this turbo. I know it's hard waiting like this though.

 

Is Shiv banking on 1 turbo on 1 car for the development? Are there multiple units out there undergoing testing? I would like to know if this will take 6 months or 6 weeks. My car cannot last 6 months without a tune as it is running a bit lean up top and I need dyno time if this is not going to happen very soon.

If I were you, I'd get it tuned. Even if it was "only" 6 weeks.

 

hopefully no one kills me for bumping this, but I am still interested in seeing that race gas dyno comparison once the dyno is set up.

Shiv, is this turbo going to be offered by Vishnu? I've been waiting on a bolt on turbo for more than 1 year and I'm sure I'm not the only one. A little information would go a long way. Stop looking at your laptop for a second and answer the mass questions.

If the turbo turns out to be good, we will offer it. However, we want to do more testing on it, which wont happen until we start using our DD again.

We have a lot going on over here right now. Keep your eyes pealed on an update post coming in a few days.

Mr. Buschur is threatening with a "new and improved" 20g-9-LT where LT is Large Turbine...supposed to have uber spoolup and power potential...maybe this will get the fire burning under the stock turbo power race.
