injector scaling & maps
I bought a set of 720 injectors and was gonna have my ecu XEDE flashed and scaled for the bigger injectors, but I have a question about the use of the maps on the Vishnu site and whether they work w/o a hitch with bigger injectors once the ECU is scaled.
My question is just that...on a car with bigger injectors, does the scaling of the ECU mean that one can just run the XEDE maps from the Vishnu site as is, or does one have to go in and fiddle with the fuel table every time one switches to a new and different map, because the maps on the site are designed for stock injectors, or is it just load and play, with the scaled ECU compensating automatically for the bigger injectors?
Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldnt find anything even after searching. Thanks.

I am getting the 780cc Injectors, and you have to send in the ECU to get them scaled!!! No boost until you get tuned. 100.00 to get the ECU scaled. Dont run the car with bigger injectors and NO scaling!! Once I get my ECU back, with the injectors scaled, I was told to DISCONNECT the XEDE until I get strapped down on a dyno. I was also told to stay out of the boost until such a time!!

Smoke', I really can't feature you as refraining from boosting!
So, there isn't a need to adjust the fuel table of the XEDE maps when switching between different maps? The xedeflash and the scaling take care of the compatibility w/ the larger injectors, once and for all?

In order to use bigger injectors, they must be scaled by sending the ECU in for a reflash. You can't use the "off the web" maps w/ upgraded injectors. You will have to have it custom tuned or have Shiv send you a map.
On a side note, bigger injectors are not needed until you upgrade to a bigger turbo.
