Vishnu V400 being installed today
My Evo IX MR car stayed stock for 3 weeks. That is changing today after I take my car to Vishnu for the V400 package (flash and full exhaust). I am having dyno tuning done as well. I will post dyno results and driving impressions when I return.

I think its cool how the v400 package is just exhaust and tune for the 9's where the v390 for the VIII's is cams and everything else. Sorry for pointing out the obvious, just cool!

Rub it in... Us old school 8 guys had to get our hands dirty to make power. Especially those of us that aren't near any good shops.
Now you can make power without messing up your "California will vote for Hillary" shirt.

Installation complete. I am very pleased with how the car performs. My car was 100% stock before today, so the Vishnu mods are the first mods for the car.
My baseline dyno run (after the Vishnu standard exhaust {with cat} was installed) on a Mustang Dyno was 240 whp/224 ft. lbs. Shiv's estimate was that the exhaust added 10 whp/ft. lbs., so subtract that amount to arrive at my 100% stock baseline. After the flash and tuning, I am at 270 whp/275 ft. lbs.
The midrange torque increase really transforms the car. I was doing 4th gear freeway passes on the 2 hour drive home that I would never have attempted before the mods. Before the mods, the acceleration of the Evo seemed equal to my Dinan-modded E46 M3. Not anymore. The Evo is way faster. Drivability with the V400 seems better than stock - the car is smoother at low-load throttle in lower rpms.
Also, the exhaust sounds great. Aggressive sounding, but not what I would characterize as "loud". It didn't bother me at all on the drive home. My wife (who hates loud exhausts) commented that the exhaust sounded really good.
Overall, this package is well worth the cost and I highly recommend it. My thanks to Shiv.
