unplugging the battery?
Hi guys, I tried searhing but got no real anwser. I have an Evo 9 n I got the xflash, 380hp package, with K&N filter. Anyways, My friend I were installing the bushings for short shifter, So basically does unplugging battery do anything to the flash?? On my search here, I read some guy saying something about unplugging battery resets your ecu? I know it resest your radion clock, but just want to know if it affected my flash. I know I'm a noob,(sorry about that)It still revs up to 7800rpms when i stomp on it, n still revs up to 6000rpm, when launching. I'm just paranoid n used to the power already so can't tell the diff? thanks in adance

Unplugging your battery won't cause you to lose your XFlash which is burned into ECU permanently till changed. Unplugging your battery will reset error codes that cause the "service engine soon" light to come on.
Anyone please feel to correct me if I'm wrong.
