Shiv,
You guys looking into tuning the new turbo Saturn Sky Redline/Pontiac Solstice GXP? I think that will be a hot new market as well.

Congrats on the Bimmer.

Cat-delete comes to mind immediately...

Seriously though, those exhausts look huge considering they're working on 3cyls each.

Maybe this is a newbie question, but do the turbos feed a single intake track or do they each feed their own intake tracks?

Nice car, glad you got it. Are you going to look into cracking the ecu for the 335i?

And when you say you can light up the rear tires, well dosnt only one tire light up, being that it dosnt have a lsd? The 33ix will be out in 1 yr. Will you put a lsd in the 335i?

What are your plans for the 335i?

And also non of my business, but was this a loaner car from BMW for you to tune on,, or did you just buy it because you really liked it?

Noize-- There are a bunch of cars that are in hour sights this next year. Soltice and Skye? Anything is possible I suppose

fusionchicken- The 335i is easily as quick as a stock Evo IX from a roll. Maybe quicker in some tests since it has so much low end torque and immediate boost response. Remember, it only has to spool up to 8-9psi, not 20psi.

mrfred- Each of the two turbos have their own intake plumbing. The set-up is pretty simple. There is a giant airbox on top of the engine begin fed by a cold air duct like the evo. The airbox has two outlets, one going to each turbo. One goes around the front of the engine. The other wraps around the back. The air then comes out of the turbos via ic pipes. The two pipes merge quickly and then go to the FMIC. Then out the other side and into the throttle body. At first look, it's awfully confusing. But stare at it for a while and it makes sense

silrevo- We're definately going to find a way to get an LSD in there. There is enough power to light up both weeks in 1st gear. But during hard cornering, the inside one goes up in smoke. Fortunately, this BMW belongs to us. It's not a loaner so we can do whatever we want to with it. And we intend to do quite a bit.

I drove the 335i at a BMW driving event in Atlanta and I was really impressed by it. It handled really well on the track.

If you want a car that's fast from the factory AND has a nice interior, then the 335i is the car to get.

Some pics that I took posted on a friends account: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...0&postcount=77

So, what kind of atw hp are we looking at for the 335i (on your dyno)? It would be interesting to see a dyno comparison between the evo and the bmw.
