XFlash -> XEDE need major help.

So I've got a V390 XFlash but I just bought a used SMART XEDE. First things first... THERE ARE SO MANY WIRES. I read through the installation FAQ for the XEDE on the Vishnu site, but between that and the SMART page (and the diagram that someone drew up) I am still confused.

EDIT: Ok, after some more laborious reading I think I figured most of it out... I'll leave only the stuff that I still don't know.

1) I have a LED connected to the black connector. What's that for? Is it a XEDE status LED?
2) The ECU harness has 3 wires coming out of it. One black/red, which I assume is power and ground (since they have connector blades on them), and one black wire with a white stripe. What's the black white striped wire for?

That's just the wiring questions.

My other question is, since I have a XFlash already, how would I use SMART on top of this? Ideally I'd eventually get flashed back to stock (XEDE Flashed) so I could use a baseline v390 map and let SMART take care of the rest. But my Evo is my daily - what options do I have for putting the XEDE in without having to send my ECU to get reflashed? And what would I do with the boost wire and the pills in my boost tubes?

Also, do the white and blue wires on the knock buffer go anywhere? They're not connected to anything atm.

Erm, I also have this button for turning something on and off. No idea what this is for. Ideas?

Those you just put away for later use.

Also regarding the button, if its the black button. That is used to calibrate the wideband.

Cool, thanks for the info. That's one thing down.

It's not the little joystick trigger looking button - that's connected to a red LED which I assume is for the wideband. This button is a rocker switch that looks like:

(o -)

yay for ASCII art. It's also not connected to anything right now..

If it's 2 red wires with a toggle switch, it is the switch for changing Maps.

Hm, the toggle switch isn't wired. Where should I wire it?

I dont even have a switch I just twist the wires together when I want the second map. If you use a switch you can put it anywhere.

Whoops, maybe I should have been more specific. I mean, which two wires as the toggle supposed to be connected to?

That would depend on your switch configuration.
