Shiv,

I tried calling the shop but haven't been able to get through. I am interested in the Xflash, but unfortunately I won't be in town Saturday or Sunday to have it done at MAC.

My question is, will you be able to keep or record a bone stock Xflash map for high altitude that I could use safely on my car? Do you think there will be enough variance from your normal stock maps to warrant this?

I'd like to know quickly, because I actually have my ECU at WORKS right now awaiting a reflash, and I'd like know how to proceed.

Thanks

Hi folks. I'm still looking forward to dyno day, but can someone post some directions on how to get there? Even something general like, "From I-25 go east....", etc. would be a big help. I am sure I'm not the only one who knows where Parker is, but doesn't know where the shop is located. Thanks.

Hey Bigmac,

If your coming from from Colorado Springs then take I-25 north towards Denver. After you pass CastleRock but before Denver get off on E. Lincoln Ave(I believe exit 193). Go east on Lincoln Ave. to S. Parker Rd. Turn left or go north on S. Parker Rd. Then turn right on E. Pine Lane...There should be a little building complex on the right...MAC Autosports is in the SE corner of the center. The shop is kinda hard to see from the street(Pine Lane) but turn into it and you'll find it. Hope this helps you out. If you want me to clarify something just let me know.

Nice maps and directions when plugged into mappoint.msn.com/ or your favorite mapping site.

Just put in my cams (264/272 w/gears @ -5) and dump back standard exhaust without any tuning and OMG what a HUGE difference the car spools at ~2600rpm with massive torque. I can't wring it out yet because the cams need some break in but what a massive difference already without the xcede or Shiv's legendary tune. Bring on Saturday we are gonna' put down some numbers!

That is how they came and I belive is the setting for the Stage 1 not necessarily the correct setting for stage one plus. Having said that it spools MUCH quicker than stock, I have not been able to explore the top-end yet because of break-in. Shiv may very well change the cam setting this weekend on the dyno, my post was is response to the huge gains (that shocked the hell out of me ) WITHOUT TUNING

Amigoni and Brett,
I hate to do this but it looks like I wil have to back out for this weekend. I have to work and will not be able to make it down to Parker. Please keep me informed when you find out about a date next year. Thanks...

Chronohunter: How did your tuning session go? I am especially interested in what you ended up using for your cam timing. Please post results.

thanks,

What is the elevation of the shop? I'm assuming it is over 4000 feet. Won't that make the dyno results a little dissappointing?
