No, it is not supposed to be. If you put higher duration/lift cams in an engine, it will change the characteristics of the engine.

I installed my Xede a few days ago and am having the same problem described in this thread. Could you please elaborate on the "quick fix"? I would like to try that until you get the maps adjusted....

Just to have a closure: I went to the dealer this morning, tech got in the car, started it up and turned it off. The car did it's "normal" shudder - dieseling - and tech said he did not notice anything out of extraordinary. He then went to get a brand new EVO from the lot, started it up and shut it down a couple of times - same shudder, identical. So I guess "normal" is really normal and I drove away satiated. Case closed.
