Cam angle sensor error? Did you ever try unplugging your XEDE while the engine was running. If you did, it will throw that code. Go ahead and erase the code as see if it comes back.

SHIV, i already cleared the codes twice, it only comes on w/ service engine light and 4 cam sensor codes when i stall in first gear. maybe ill roll to vishnu soon and have you check it out, do some tuning, and buy some goodies. THX

Why does your car stall?

MP5, what do you mean: "Don't do it." Don't do what?
Hey Dynoking, sorry to see you got temporarily muzzled.
Hang in there.
I bet your brother's WRX is an automatic, because my WRX w/5speed was a pain in the ***. It wouldn't stall, but it would continually bog horribly unless you feather and gas just right. It was so weak in low rpms - one of the main reasons I got rid of it.
When my EVO was absolutely stock, it stalled twice and came close to stalling a few other times. It happened mostly at drive-thru lines when I would have to move forward and then stop, not because I wasn't used to the clutch. With my xede, I stalled once because I let the clutch out in soft dirt without enough gas: but no SES light. However, the Xede, as of yet, doesn't fix the stock stall problem. It still comes close to stalling once in a while, just like when it was stock.
Good luck.

Just try getting the car rolling without giving it any gas in a flat parking lot somewhere. Dont worry about the clutch getting thrashed, because your not applying a massive load. Thats the best way to learn about clutch lever feel & clutch engagement. If your car idles to low, raise it up to 1,000 & practice.
