The XEDEFlash is for use with the XEDE. Since the XEDE is already handling fuel, spark, and boost duties, the XEDEFlash simply takes care of the things that the XEDE cannot such as rev limits, boost limits and speed limits. This has benefits since we no longer have to tip-toe around the factory boost cut. It can also be used to make idle quality adjustment for cars with cams.
Back to the XFLash: it comes with a new boost line that will need to be installed if desired boost is to be acheived.
Cheers

If you get the Xede/XEDEFlash, does it also comes with a new boost line?
The Xflash is then a more simplified version of the Xede/XEDEFlash combo, correct?

Yes, the XEDE/XEDEFlash involves removal of the little pill in the boost line. We include a new hose for XFlash customers simply to make things as easy as possible
We still have a bit more flexibility with the XEDE due to the nature of it's 3D boost control tables and finer resolution. But yes, one can consider the XFlash to be a more affordable and non-user-tunable alternative to the XEDE/XEDEFlash combo.

Dang D,
You seem to have forgotten your Ps and Qs. LOL, but your approach seems to have worked. Let me try....
Shiv, my high octane map was a mere 98 octane. Make me a C16 high octane map immediately for my car. NOW!
