As of right now, no, we don't have a car entered in, or ready for OTC. But ask us again on Sunday which is the first racing day of the series.
If you can't do things last minute, why do them at all?
Cheers,

Al made some reference to some OTC car blowing up. He was vauge, and I had to exit the thread, because the thread author got pissed because we were talking about reflash competition in his Tehas dyno thread.
Meh, well. Keep smokin' their doors off.

Us? We had to replace a crank angle sensor in the parking lot of a Chevron just outside Willow Springs. It got damaged during the third lap at Vegas, completely disabling the car. Still managed a 2:01 though which is still pretty good
Today at T-hilll, our clutch and brakes stopped working due to some master cylinder problems that we are trying to fix right now. Paul still managed to run a 2.04 though
And yes, he was wearing my Prada loafers when he did it (his shoes and suit were locked in the RV).
Cheers,
shiv

Update: Looks like the snap ring on the clutch broke, keeping the pressure plate fully engaged. We don't have any replacements in stock. So, it looks like we'll have to bow out of Sears Pt which basically puts us out of the running.
I'll be looking into upgraded snap rings tomorrow so that we have something a bit more reliable in time for One Lap of America (the really big deal) next week. 6000 miles in one week, a track per day, with no support vehicles

That sucks you can't make Sears Point but at least nothing major broke. How was the car running up until the broking snap ring?
Hope you guys do good in the One Lap of America.

Wong rolled? Holy Hannah, dude! I'm glad everyone is okay.
Sucks about the snap ring. I'm glad all is well. One Lap will be a freaking blast, I'd bet. A guy from our SCCA chapter competed last year in a 350Z and did pretty well. He got FTD on one of the events, which is pretty impressive considering he had a mostly stock VQ35 facing all the competition out there. Can't wait to hear about the One Lap experiences.
You guys be safe!!
