Evoindahouse!!! Nice numbers, I wish I could have stayed and watched it but with my drive looming over my head I had to hit the road.
Andrew, Thanks for putting on this great event. IT was worth the wait and the drive down there. If anyone in the area has not been there yet do yourself a favor and stop by. This dyno day was ten times better than the one I went to at Altered Atmospheres in January.

Shiv, Thanks for taking care of my boost problem. The car runs like a monster now. I have the stage 1+ and put down 264.4 WHP. Before the leak was fixed I was putting down about 239.

IT was great meeting everybody that attended and it was great echanging war stories with Dude.

Craig thanks for the pump and David thanks for the install.

Bring back MP5, Bring back MP5, Bring back MP5, Bring back MP5, Bring back MP5.

Dynoflash

I got 226.9WHP with mail in DYNOFLASH and full-exhaust. A stock EVO has around 187.9WHP. So as result I gained about 41WHP and 45ftlb torque for with mailflash. Shiv is awesome guy and was nice to people even if they have a competitors product. I had a great time watching one of the best tunners. In the end my $200 flash delivired results I am happy with.

I was impressed by Shiv but didn't want to spend an extra money for xede. There was stage 0+ of Event Horizon has with similar mods to me that got 243WHP which is 16WHP better than my car. Overall I was impressed with the gains.

I still can't believe what Ryan's car did adding 100WHP over stock.

Thanks to everyone for coming! It was really fun tuning your car in particular. The gain were pretty dramatic. Nice to see what might have be dismissed as a weak car come back to life again

More updates. Did two Stage 2 WRX, both of which put down 247-250whp. Stock is around 150whp on this dyno, btw

The Stg. 1 STi we just wrapped up put down 258whp (and 275lb-ft of torque!). All the Subies behaved beautifully this weekend. The only problem child was a WRX running a 2.5 STi block. It was sufferring from ignition coil damage due to its prior form of engine management. We had to swap in coils from another WRX in order to tune it. Once remapped, however, it put down good numbers (around 250whp, IIRC). Too bad he had to return the good coils to the generous Suby owner before driving home

Thanks again to everyone for coming!! And thanks to the Andrew and Barry at Dyno4mance for inviting us and hosting this great event. Markluv isn't kidding about the facility. It's simply amazing!

Regards,
shiv

My dyno charts, The 1st one is before the tune, a tune on 93 gas, then the 110 Race gas. On pump I got 282whp, race was 294, and stock was mid 260's

stock was mid 260s? j/k

FWIW, we just re-dyno'd Noize's car. It made 262whp on pump gas and 280whp on race gas. He's running a regular Stg 1 car with a test pipe.

lol, That was with the off the shelf map no stock so what did you do to pump up the power? Also I am going to add a 1G bov to see if it helps hold boost up top. do you think it would be safe if I added 2 PSI max boost? Also I will dyno the car again and what are safe A/F ratios on the tune on 93?

I didn't do anything to bump the power. We just dyno'd it again and it gained a few hp from the previous day. As for your car, go ahead and upgrade your BOV. Just don't mess with the mapping/boost pressures. A/F is pretty meaningless by itself so giving your targets won't be helpful at the least. In fact, I wouldn't even know what to tell you since they are of little value when tuning. About the only thing I use them for is to make sure that fueling is deep on the rich side and free of wierd spikes or dips. The absolute values are meaningless because different dynos with different widebands mounted in different locations will give vastly different results.

Trev0006, Come out to Cal Speedway on the 29th May if your from So Cal and you will get a better idea of the power that Shiv can extract from your car. Works gave me about 20- 25 peak hp also and I noticed the increase but it was not substantial. Figured stock Sti and my Evo would be a close race with the Evo edging it out. Definitely a drivers race but after Shiv got done with my car an Sti w/o a turbo upgrade is in a whole lot of trouble. I think Smogrunner in So Cal and Armando in Texas got 12.4 and 12.6 with stage one cars. However I have the stage 1+ and w/o me driving it like a tard it is capable of 12.2. I have busted a 12.4 with a 1.9 60ft at 112 so with a 1.7 ish 60ft the car is very capable of 12.2. BTW I have yet to see a modded Sti get into the high 12s. I know they are out there but the best I have seen or heard of while at the track is 13.1. BTW I beat him by buslengths but his 2.5 60ft made our race really lopsided. If you come down to cal Speedway the 29th May I will be the Evo in a Grudge fest against a stock Viper. Wish me luck I might be in over my head.

Did you run that time at California speedway? that is a slow track, your car must be super fast, are you running 91 gas?

Trev, Just pmed you. No that time 12.4 was at Carlsbad but I feel that Ets at both places are about the same. I did run a couple of 12.6s at Cal Slipperyway but on May 29th I better do better or I will be Viper fodder. Remember I am not the most competent dragracer in the world(understatement) but it is fun and despite my limited abilities I can still run 12s pretty consistently. Shiv will make your Evo substantially faster w/o a ton of upgrades with the stock turbo. IMHO My car has 12.1 potential on race gas and 12.5 on pump. Unfortunately my skills are lacking but it is fun trying to run ets that reflect my cars potential. Get it done and run in the 12s at Cal Slipperyway on the 29th of May. Low 13s at worst.
