Dyno4mance/Vishnu dyno day results thread.
Hey guys I just dynoed my car the other day and made 312whp and 314tq My mods are HKS catback RMR testpipe MBC HKS 264 cams fuel pump and bov. I just ran my car today and only did a 12.9 @ 105.66 isnt that kinda low considering I made alot of power to the wheels should I go to another tuner and have the car tuned again what do u think?

What engine controls were you running, who tuned it, and on what dyno did you run it on?

[QUOTE=dude]Shiv I think the only way this would ever be solved is if you and Al started with the Same EVO (call it a stock EVO for ****s and giggles) on the SAME day and using the SAME dyno. First flip a coin to see who goes first, winner chooses. Upload Mail-in Dynoflash or baseline Xede/Xedeflash and dyno. Reflash back to stock and change tuner system, dyno again immediately. Compare results. I have no doubt as to the results, just what Al's excuses would be.
Next, flip a coin again for custom tuning to see who goes first. "road tune" or dyno tune, then flash back to stock, switch and compare results on the dyno. Assuming all this happens on a relatively consistent day temperature wise (to reduce al's excuses as much as possible) and on a third party dyno (remember, you could "manipulate" yours and we all know he couldn't possible figure out any type of fancy, scientific "testing" machine) we might end all this dabble.
I just wish he wouldn't post so much misinformation as I'd imagine alot of the newbies on here without much car experience are being swept away by all the outlandish claims he makes, esp since he has his own forum. Not doubting the newbies intelligence (okay, maybe I am) but it sure would take a lot of searching and reading to discern the truth, and we all know how many people actually search before posting...[/QUOTE
I will be happy to host a tuner shootout dyno day at Dyno4mance....I have never met Al or really read any of his posts so maybe I can be neutral in all of this....PM me guys if you want to set this up,,,Loser pays for the day...

Shiv turbotrix tuned it...I put 312 to the wheels when he dynoed it and I believe its a dynojet dyno. The problem is when I left his shop the boost was spiking and it was causing a boost spike this did not occure on the dyno but when I was on my way home wich was 4 hours away!...So he told me to turn the boost down wich I did but the only thing is Its still hitting 20 pounds of boost. Its not my driving I can gaurantee that my et is matching my mph I am a good driver and my 60 foot is a low 1.8 help???

FWIW, 312 on that dyno is equal to about 270whp on ours.
