That's the way to do it. OEM reliablity fit and drivablity as far as the motor goes.
With the extra safty, rod bolts and head studs.
autoathorty's stage III 993 turbo is just sick. I got to drive one once and with 607hp it's just nasty. 3000lb 1/4th 10.1@143 on pump gas with only 1.2 bar of boost. 3.6l. HOT DANG it cooks. It's not a cheap car to mod ($6,000 intercooler upgrade) but the stock rods are good for 700hp all day long.

I should be allowed to disclose the general results well before it goes to print. I'll ask the C&D guys if it would be okay to spill the beans early (like next week
) I don't think they are too fussy about test result leaks on the interent. Trust me, if we beat at least one car, I'll make a public announcement and rent a sky writing plane.

Thanks but I'm not driving. We're leaving that to fellow evom-er Chronohunter (Paul). When it comes to driving, he's just a teeny tiny bit better than me

And Paul has driven this event before. I'm sure his experince will be also very helpfull.
But Shiv's no dud. The guy can drive the crap out of anything. Hell I don't even like driving with him in the same car.
