Should reach 360-370whp which is close to what other Stage 1+ cars have put down there.

Shiv,

ok, so I gotta ask ... I just received my XEDE and its sitting in my room waiting for my car to come back from tuner/body shop. Is the firmware in the XEDE upgradeable ? please say yes ... please ... please ... and will the map you used be made available at any point in time ?

awesome numbers .. I want my car back ... bwaaaaaah

Sorry , you misunderstood, should have said "that'll be a good day". But firmware ? please tell me the firmware in the XEDE can be reflashed ... please ... please.

Being a software type, I understand the QC issues.

Yes, all the XEDEs, new and old, can be updated to V.3 through a firmware flash which can be done either at our shop or by you in the comfort of your garage.

The new functions of V3 are simply additive to what we've already had with the XEDE. This latest version, IMHO, makes any other form of user-programmable engine control system (stand alone or otherwise) completely obsolete. Do I sound a little biased?

Still a little more testing to be done but so far they results have been spectacular! Rhys and Lachlan are rock stars. And they keep us entertained endlessly with their funny accents

So now do you like the 35R better then the 3037 on a road course?

Not really. Through some low speed corners, it's hard to keep the GT35R on boil. Sometimes get stuck between 1st and 2nd gear which can make for a slowish exit. If all four tires aren't going up in smoke at turn exit, Paul is unhappy!! Other than that, it makes more power, more effortlessly with lower octane requirements. But I still think our 3037 will better suit the needs of most road racers. Especially in high altitude tracks like PPIR, WSIR, etc,.

What do you think would be best for a car that you drive to work everyday and it hits a road course a few times a year? Also is the 35R just a normal turbo? Dual BB or anything like that?

Shiv thanx for the ride in the beast and the upgrading of my firmware yesterday. I was there fellow Vishnu junkies and I believe Shiv's red beast on straight c-16 had a 600whp pull in it. I witnessed Shiv pulling up and dynotuning a car and then with no prep throwing in some c-16 and doing a good quick pull and then nutting all over himself and calling it a day.
