Is there a potential to set up something for the Spring of '05 - Maybe Summit Point? It seems somewhat central for most east coasters??

Paul - any contacts or info for this track? I'd be willing to start the work

For all those requesting an East Coast one, and for the whole Dyno4mance-Shiv thing, we could do it in conjunction with a school at Talladega Gran Prix... Shiv, Paul, maybe y'all would want to come out here and join us... We could do a Vishnu / Siegel Racing event here. Not trying to threadjack, just thinking it would be cool to be "Nationwide."

With an instructor like Paul we could do 12 a day at Talladega, or 20 per day at Roebling Road or somewhere....

Hey Smog,

Once we get everything semi-finalized, will you be PM'ing the people on the list with the info? I'm getting less and less time at work to cruize these boards... Also, I'm pushing the wife to get the Evo early so I might have a stock '05 if they hit the dealers before this thing goes...

I'm in if it is in NorCal on Friday or a weekend day. Thunderhill would be cool since its closer to Oregon.

 

If you come to the east coast, do it right, and grab VIR =) Best overall track on the east coast. Pretty central for east coasters too. Summit is nice, and it's my home track, but the facilities aren't nearly as good. Shenandoah is a pipedream still.

I'm voting for a dyno-day/driving school combo next spring in the Mid-west. Maybe @ Gingerman Raceway....

OK....I will start the ball rolling here on the east coast, or at least for the south east region..

If Paul and Shiv can make it here to Dyno4mance we can shove Shiv on the Dyno tuning on race gas on Friday/ Saturday as Paul gives a theory class in another area of our shop on the same day to impart some theory and also to answer any questions you may have before getting on the track..
Then Saturday evening/Sunday morning we make the 2.5 hour drive to Roebling road for a fun day at the track...
As GT35REVO said the cost at this track seems very reasonable

This event sounds great and I also agree w/ GT40 about everyone gettig together for this event. I would like to see the internet smack talking stop and everyone that is a proud Evo owner to grow and act like a normal person. It would be nice for Shiv and Rich to meet and settle their differences by shaking hands and talking face to face about the lies and bs that is being spread through cyberspace. I would also love to see Robi and Paul settle the trail breaking thread that discusses the best way to drive an Evo. Lets see what happens here in the next few months. You never know miracles can happen...
