is this safe?

Shiv,

Im currently running a Stage 1+ tuned by you.

Im going to the track on the 24th at Streets, and in addittion to the stage 1+, i will have:

the Helix 02 housing,
the 10.5cm^2 hot side for the turbo,
a straighter upper intercooler pipe,
an MR BOV,
and a mini-battery (Odyssey 680).

Will I need to have the car tuned before I go, or can i safely run on the track all day long with my current Stage 1+ settings?

Ditto above statement:

I would certainly run 110 race gas on the pump gas map though.

Run 100 octane at the minimum on the pump fuel map for a good margin of safety. Whatever Eric said I 2nd that.

yes, you can run a stage 1+ base map for now. However, to get the full use of your new mods, you will need to get tuned.

When you do get retuned let us know how you do.

If you don't have a wide band o2 you can always pull a couple of plugs after the first session. Cheap "peice of mind." As long as you don't run out of injector...

Why not install all of that until after the event?

I would have a retune if you plan to put that 10.5 in before the event due to the actual VE increases we are seeing. Regardless I would run a pump gas map with a mix or pure 100

What's VE?

Do you guys have any base maps for this that i can run in the meantime until i can get the car tuned?

I don't feel competent manipulating the Xede on my own just quite yet.

Volumetric efficiency...you will need to be re-tuned or at the very least turn the boost down, the exhaust system becomes much more efficient with the 10.5 hot side

Alex, go get your car custom tuned and then go "represent." BTW, how did you like paying and then getting your race date all changed?
