Modded JIC Exhaust for US Evo 8

Hey i understand that Vivid has modded their stainless steel exhaust from JIC so that it will not burn the rear bumper? i saw a forum that someone had installed it on their evo but i never knew Vivid did this. Hey Vivid, do you guys have more of these modded JIC exhaust's in stock or was that a prototype? Lets us evo owners know because i love that exhaust but i never purchased it because i didnt like how it fell short to the rear bumper.
thanx, Ryan

Yes they have a bracket which makes it hang normal. Takes 5 mintues to fit and makes the exhaust normal for no burning...

Give us a call!

Obsoleteasian: That looks FRESH!

Any clearance problems with curbs and driveways?
Do you have the bracket installed? If so, does your bumper still get dark (read: black film) from the exhaust?

yes i have the bracket, but i am using a custom bracket right now instead of the oone they just sent me that they made... ummmm honestly i have no issues with curbs or driveways. this exhaust is mea, it has one small bed but its basically a straight pipe. .. after a few weeks of drdivingn the side get a lil bit of black film.. it usually happens faster on 91 gas. but when i run 100, it stays relatively clean for a while... i highly recommend this exhauast.. if you are wondering whata the black stuff leaking is, that is a awhole for the screw for the silence tip t hat it comes with, we removed it , so it sounds more throaty... ...

*BUMP*

looks amazing but too short...

Is that the modded one? And do they only come for the 7 so you have to add this bracket for the 8? so they don't make an exhaust exlusivley for the 8?

I confused

Is the "bracket", the peice that I have seen that fits over the tip? If so, wouldent it make the Ti tip look stupid? You would not beable to see it.

The exhaust looks great, but a little short I agree. Would be interested to see the longer version, but a sleeve over the tip of the exhaust would be cheesy if that's the fix. cocnur on the sound clips. What sort of difference in performance did you get? Questions, questions...
