Snow Performance questions and answers...
JustFYI:
Substances incompatible with 100% methanol are almost as incompatible with 20% methanol. The water cut will slow the methanol's solubility characteristics very little.
The viton in the snow shureflo is claimed to be of later grade - which is compatible with the methanol.

They swell because take on the alcohol (soluble), there's a newer variety of viton thats supposed to be more resistant to methanol
I'm going to be using the supplied reservoir since I don't want to lose my windshield washing abilities.
Where have people installed the Snow reservoir? I'm thinking of putting it in the compartment inside the trunk opposite the windshield washer reservoir, but there's no obvious place to mount it.

You can still spray 50% meth on the windshield, that is what I do, but if you want to use the supplied tank, mount it on opposite side and get two brackets that are flat (or L brackets just bend them flat) and there are holes that can be used to mount these brackets too, and then mount the tank to the brackets.
I took a tough but effective route and used the large charge spray res (4X the size) that came factory with the 04. I also mounted the pump below it, and VC controller and flow meter near firewall, this has everything under hood for response. It was a lot of hand fabricating but once tuned it will pay.
Just remember that wherever you put the reservoir, the pump must be below it fairly close.
The trunk location will make the job a piece of cake I would assume

Did you bolt the pump down or just tuck it in there?
Well, Dan I'm gonna take advantage of your helpfulness and ask more questions as they come to me. I'm sitting at work now and will be working more on the install this weekend.
I haven't gone in and really looked around yet, but what are you using for a power source for the pump? Can you get it off the power for the existing windshield fluid pumps?

I like to use a new source of power for alky kit because I want to ensure its going to power and work correctly. I ran a line from battery with a fuse inline. Keep the questions coming...
