You would be hard pressed to beat the ZEITRONIX / Meth injection combination safegaurd that covers: HIGH EGT, LOW TO OUT OF METH, PROGRAMMABLE AFR+TPS%+BOOST COMBINATION.

The way the TTP meth injection kits are setup cut boost to 14psi if EGT is too high, or if AFR> 12.00(for example) AND TPS> 70% AND IF BOOST> 22.5psi.

We have deliberately run out of meth, driven around at WOT while logging EVOSCAN and could not get the car to knock with our safeguard system.

This is the most bulletproof system available to protect your motor and can be run on stock or aftermarket ECU.

To reiterate, this is the water injection section, designed as a place for technical discussions about waterinjection systems and safeguards.

If you would like a place to sell coolingmist products free from vendor to vendor product discussions and questions, I would contact speedlimit so he can get you vendorship signup info.

 

When we are ready to disclose that we will. If you want a technical discussion about safeguards, why not post one now? I had a really good time watching you and richard with your flame wars, It was quite entertaining.

I will not join in until our product is ready. Dont ask us anything about our safeguard or how it works, we will not disclose anything other than what is on our website. You should not be worried, no safeguard could ever do what yours does...or even possibly more.

 

Richard at Aquamist is a great guy and they have an excellent product. I am not sure what you are eluding to?

I am not concerned about this "safeguard" as it is evident there is nothing to discuss. It doesn't exist yet. I like many other members in this technical forum were merely interested in this product and how it worked. If the product was not ready to discuss, it should not have been brought up by YOU.

Since this is a technical forum and not a FS ad, more than one person brought up the subject of the checkvalve. Where I also posted below.

I am not going to play the debate game with you. Any customers that want to ask a question to us or importimage, I will more than willing to answer.

I answered the question for the checkvalve. Anyone that wants it at the injector can put it there. I hope you are ok with that.

I didn't post this thread to teach anyone about the techical merrits of water injection, the thread was posted to discuss this particular product and how it works. Dont tell me what to bring up and what not to.

Who brought up AQUAMIST or Richard at all? What do they have with your products. Sure wasn't me.

You skipped over twice the subject of air backflowing through the lines and how what your opinion is on this occurance because it happens to many kits available on the market. I consider this to be a valid problem as it can cause a pump to lose prime. If the fluid does not backflow that far, at the least it can cause a delay in the fuel reaching the nozzle and could cause a lean AFR event at high boost.

Do you have a one way valve available that prevents backflow of the fuel through the lines back to the tank?

 

How does the zeitronix cut the boost once those parameters are triggered?

 

Through a negative ground trigger to a relay that opens a valve and bypasses boost from the turbo straight to the wastegate= saved motor.

I am not sure what the big secret is.

 

Could you link me to your product? I like to roadrace and have heard that alky is not all that safe, your opinions? Anyone's opinions?

 

There is a lot that can fail with meth kits. The best bet is to not skimp out. You NEED a wideband. Anyone using meth without a WBO2 is an impending Evo part out ad waiting to happen. Furthermore a bulletproof safeguard is important with either map switching or boost cut to protect you.

I brought that up because I see you and him argue left and right in a failsafe thread and dont want to do that with you.

Our trunk mount kit will prime every single time, 100% as long as it has water in it. That is one of the biggest problems with tanks that are seperate from the pump, because location of the pump/tank is the # 1 cause of a system not priming. There is almost no chance of air getting between the 1 way checkvalve and the pump with this setup. And for the record, its the air between the checkvalve and the pump that can cause it not to prime..not the air between the checkvalve and the injector.


Please let me know if this satisifies you. I will not sleep knowing that just maybe I have not answered to your satisfaction.
