Alcohol injection without tune....

OK i know its been done before but i plan on doing it temporary im just curious how what i can do to help this or or prevent from wrecking anything....i got the snow performance kit....i have a tune for my current mods...what did other run for boost and everything untuned....anything i can do with e flash for a temp tune to help it out or prevent anything....any input on this id greatly appreciate.

Man if you are gonna do this. I would wait and just read everything on the forum before even attempting to install or adjust any settings!

If I were you i wouldnt even put on an alky injection, But if you really want to then do it, just make sure you keep it filled all the times. I just blew my motor cause of an empty Meth tank. You just make sure you get it tuned. And Dont run it without a tune cause you may run too rich and damage your motor, cause your car wasnt tuned for that.

hook up a switch and leave it off until you get tuned...

if you had the snow performance failsafe you wouldn't have had that issue or a low level indicator...

sigh......when will ppl start learning not to run alcohol injection without a good failsafe

double ditto...u will lose performance if not tuned...and don't crank boost up blindly... car is gonna be pig rich w/ meth w/out tune...once tuned ....

make sure you put your zeitronix failsafe to good use!

Your car will run very rich and could cause some damage. My friend's evo was on the dyno getting ready to get tuned, so they did a baseline pull first with the alky on. It backfired from running too rich and bent his throttle body plate, causing the idle to be stuck at 2500 rpms.
