Long term effects of meth/alky on engine

I would like to run a meth or alky kit in the future, so I'm doing a bunch of research on which one to use. There is one question that I can't seem to find the answer for. What long term effects does meth or alky use have on the engine and it's parts, rings, seals, valves, etc.?

Hopefully this will help me make my decision on whether or not I'm going to be an 'coholic

Long term its hard on cylinders as the meth washes the oil off the walls. And it dilutes the oil very fast so oil change intervals need to be shortened. So instead of getting 200k out of your engine you may only get 150k before needing freshening up. Going fast costs $$$$$. But you already knew that.

yup i heard that meth will decrease the life of your engine by 50k whereas NOS by 100k.

it depends on where your AFRS are. Run a failsafe and tune to the "optimum" afr.....and not run pig rich with injection - just incase of a failure in the system

I do/did. It is in a tank, and stays there. It COMES on (Sprays) at whatever boost level you want it to. Or you can shut the box off, and NOT SPRAY. My box was always on,never know when you needed it!

What is the best wine to buy? Kind of a tough question. I like the one AMS used (Alky control). Ask someone who has the snow meth kit, and guess what they will say is the "best?" tough question. research ALL out there, and YOU decide. it is your car................

How often should you change your oil if running it? Would running a thicker oil help to slow the break down?

it depends on the AFR your tune is at. Tune it pig rich and gas gets into your engine oil, reducing the viscosity of the oil. What ever the rate, change every 3K or so
