Hey evo owners how long does a 2qt tank of meth last you with a gt35r kit on the evo, while racing? For example would you be able to fill up your gas tank twice before the 2qt would run out?

 

with a half gallon? If you're running a 7gph nozzle I would assume it would only last one gas tank.

 

That sucks, what size tank would you recommend for 2-3 tank fulls of gas.

are one of those wiper fluid tanks that come on the evo 1 gallon.

 

You should look into buschur's smc alky kit, it comes with a tank and works very well, I run it personally.

 

I'm running a 3 gallon tank from summit racing works awesome.

 

I'm not really experienced with alky systems but in theory...actually in general...is there any reason why you couldn't get just a small fuel cell for your alky kit?

 

SMC makes a kit with a trunk mounted bottle. The bottle under the hood is smaller, but I think it hold more then 2 quarts. I have an '04 so mine is in the I/C Spray tank

 

there are many factors:

-your nozzle size
-how often you are above the trigger point
-how long you stay above the trigger point
-whether your system is a on/off or progressive

 

I run twin 5 quart tanks and it contains 8 mins worth of methanol if i say at 10psig and above.

 

use your stock washer tank and call it a day...

 

GT35r....if it is a 15GPH nozzle......stock washer tank will be empty in no time

 

the stock washer tank = 3200cc

15gph nozzle = 945cc/min

3200/945 = 3.38mins spray time

 

its over a gallon and with mine setup on 625 nozzle its lasts a good amount of time even on nitrous...he also never specified which type of racing he intends to use this for, of course if he is going to road race I would suggest a larger tank for sure...
