Venting a Meth Tank?

I was talking to a fried of mine the other day who just put a coolingmist meth kit on his blown gto. I was telling him that I have a 2.5 gallon tank that I plan on mounting in the spare tire well in the trunk. He tells me I need to vent the take cause of the size. Now the idea of venting the tank is understandable to me (even though i think that "due to the size" shouldn't matter), but I just don't understand why the manufacturers wouldn't do this if it was actually needed. So what does everyone think? Do meth tanks need to be vented? Why hasn't this brought up before if it is really an issue? How would you go about venting it anyways? And should I even bother in my case? Thanks.

I think if you are going to run more than 50% meth in the tank venting would be a good idea. You can just get a venting cap for your tank.

I always thought venting was bad? Air getting in would make the Meth evaporate.

I ordered my tank with a vented cap from Flambeau. It is vented to allow air to fill the space created when the fluid in the tank is used so you don't have a massive vacuum inside the tank. Their tanks are awesome and super cheap.
