because the HG is a one time use item, once pressure is taken off the headgasket; it is no longer good. so it is a good idea to just replace it while in there or you can do the job twice.

A ton of misinformation on this site regarding headstuds....The stock ones are more than adequate. If you have excessive knock and thus excessive pressure (far greater than boost), you will have problems no matter what stud you are using.

If you are building a motor, then sure use the L19s or the new ones from MAP.

If you are going to be doing high boost runs then yes I would get ARP head studs. It's good to have them anyways to have extra insurance.
