DDS3 adjusting?

I have a hsf-1 system and am now on making the dds3 gauge function correctly.

1. Do I have to adjust the trip adjustment first in the junction box? I think we've gotten it to about 10psi of boost to turn on but depends on the gears. It is set to PWM right now.
2. If I have it in MPS it goes off constantly. Is this correct since I spliced into pin #2 on the ecu which is injector 3.
3. If I don't have the dds3 gauge setup correctly will it run wastegate boost? Because it is right now.
4. I'm not quite sure how to setup the gauge I've read the instructions in both guides. Do I essentially have to go out and drive adjust drive adjust... Someone needs to break it down for me

thanks.

oh and anyone figure this out? I mounted my low level float a little high because I thought it would only trigger the light and not failsafe.

0. Decide if you want to trip by PWM or MPS. PWM is easier to correct your METHANOL equipped fual map since you only need to modify the cells that go above a certain %.

Answers to your questions:

1. The trip adjust is the most important one to set. If you are not sure, set it at 12o'clock. about 42% IDC.

2. For MFS trigger, you must connect it to the MAP sensor before changing the link to MPS orr it will spray constantly.

3. If you don't set the SC, WL and WH, it wil most probably switch to wastegate pressure intermittently.

4. Failsafe adjustment steps (not spliced yet):
a. Take the car for a drive
b. Ask your passenger to set the SC to display ~5 bar.
c. Advance the WH fully CW (clockwise).
d. Advance the WL CW (clockwise) until the "B" led no longer comes on. Turn back 2-3 clicks.
e. Adjust the WH CCW until the "B" led no longer comes on, advnce CW 2-3 clicks.

You have now successfully set the "failsafe" window. Cut and Splice the OE BCV wire between pin 11 and pin 12. ECU side to pin 11 and BCV side to pin12.

You can do this on the ECU side.

ty

Is it okay that I already spliced into it before doing all this stuff?

Also for the red and blue wire going to the solenoid valve. which color is on 1 & 2 or does it matter?

It will be difficult to calibrate the WL and WH if your boost keep going up and down.

For the time being, link pin11 and pin12. ONLY safe to do so

so in between every step i should trigger the dds3 gauge correct? Also in the end the "B" led should be always on right? I also can't get it to show less then 6 bars.

Thanks
