Get those traction problems fixed and it looks like low 12's! Nice times none the less!

I noticed that spinning on launch allways gives a high 1/8 mph.

Was the run logged?

Hmm, do you really think that 1/8 MPH is high based off the 1/4 MPH.

I was going to say it seemed a little low, either that or my car really dies up top.

I trap 117.1 in the 1/4 but I hit 93.41 in the 1/8.

He is not getting as fast in the 1/8 but is faster in the 1/4.
Although, my sixty foot times are .3 to .4 better so I wonder how that affects it.

92 mph is not slow for 8.0sec in the 1/8, and I don't remember saying "1/4 was based on 1/8 mph" either. But one thing, even if traction wasn't a factor and he saved like 0.3 seconds on the 60', the mph would still be kind of high for the 12.0sec 1/4 it would have been, don't you think?

You are right in saying 92MPH is pretty quick for an 8.0 sec 1/8 mile

I don't mean to claim that you said 1/8 was based on 1/4, I am saying that for nearly 121 MPH trap, I would expect to see higher 1/8 mile MPH.

You guys have to remember in those runs, I was feathering the throttle due to traction issues on 1st and 2nd gear. The rpms would hit so fast that I couldn't help but hit the rev limiter.

Anyway, I just did a boost leak test last night and found out that my HKS Bov was leaking, I could actually spin my bov around. The C-clamp was not flushed all the down to the flange which caused a major leak. I also found another leak at the meth nozzle fitting area. No wonder why I could not hold 27psi of boost, it would taper down to 25 or 24 psi of boost. I fixed all the boost leaks and its holding boost all the way to redline. The evo pull much harder then before.

boost leak tests are super important, nice going. You should see if you need to re-tweak your tune and then get back to the track

Yeah.......I completely agree with you on checking for boost leak, everyone should do this test. I'll probably do the boost leak test once a month since its so simple and easy to do.

I pretty sure I'll have to get a retune considering it was a major boost leak. I'll be upgrading to a T61 hopefully next week so, I'll just wait for the retune then.

O man, bigger turbo . Are you trying to reach a certain HP or track goal or just want more power?

What are your track goals?

You might want to invest in some drag radials.

Mid to low 11's and trap spee around 125-128mph would be awesome......I'll go to the track again this week and see if I can at least get in the 11's

As for drag radials how good do they stick?
