Im installing a snow stage 2 meth kit. I have an APS cold air intake and was going to use the intercooler sprayer reservior that came with it as the meth tank. It's basically located where the intake would be otherwise. I plan on running 100% meth. What do u guys think about that? Snow recommends running 50/50 cuz anything past that is considered flammable. Would the engine heat be a little too high and possibly ignite the meth?? I'm inclined to believe that it should be safe. But I wanted to see what you guys think or anybody w/ experience with it mounted in the engine bay?? Thanks for looking.

 

I have a similar inquiry, but want to use the stock intercooler water tank in the engine bay.

I know many people running 100% meth from the stock intercooler tank. Nobody has had problems, but I am interested to hear what others think.

 

It's pretty safe just don't splash the stuff around with the car running.

That's where mine is, better than the truck which is essentially the passenger compartment.

 

I run 100% meth in the stock intercooler sprayer tank. No issues. The stock ICS tank is 95% in the wheel well though, so its not the same as mounting it in the actual engine compartment.
