Basic mods + nitrous?
Haha I'm a dumb ****. Was wondering what planet they were on.
I've just purchased my first NOS kit so keen to learn what I can and will be running it with my water/meth kit. Only going to be using the NOS for spool only as lag is a killer

for example my I used to spray the crap out of my camaro when I first started it was above 160psi accross all 8 cylinders. After about 20 times of shoot anything from a 100 shot up to a 175, it read 130psi accross all 8.
Basically everytime I shot gas to it I lost compression which caused a powerloss while not using the gas.
disclaimer:
But on a turbo car it will not be as noticable since you are pressurizing the cylinder with the turbo.
Also when I was spraying my car it was done correctly and tuned for it.
i sprayed my stock evo motor with 100shot for years. no problems. no compression loss. i put the nitrous on it at 25k miles. after i got bored with spraying it i got a gt30R turbo upgrade and ran it till 65k miles. still had perfect compression and pistons didnt have any wear. the coating was barely worn off the piston skirts. im sure if you were spraying HUGE it would wear the engine out quickly. but a 100 shot?
i have a freind that has a stock k20 honda engine that has been sprayed with 125 shot for a year then boosted to 500+whp and its still running after no telling how many miles. doesnt use oil or anything.

thats quite wrong to say it will do this to your motor because your motor lost compression.
i've used and hung around nos bb's for a long time and have never heard of that before for starters.
as said its the install or setup that nos has a bad rep for.
setup your meth kit wrong and you'll be not enjoying a rebuild too.
only down side is cost of refills

I am wrong NO2 doesn't wear out an engine at all....
Go ahead and spray a 200 all day long.

cuz refills are the only downside to the magic horsepower maker that has no consequence of use...
200 bhp of nos will wear an engine more than without exactly as 200bhp more from a turbo will
so didn't anyone install a kit yet? I've have a nx kit in my garage now for a while now. Was only planning on running a 35-50 shot. I've never ran it on a turbo but was told a 35 shot on a turbo would be almost doubling the power the shot was intended to be. Like a 35 would be roughly a 70. Just curious if anyone knows how true that is?

At 12psi on pump I picked up 100hp but at 40psi on C16 only 50hp. Spool improved by just over 1000rpm.
So far I likey muchy
1/4 Mile time next weekend hopefully if it doesn't rain
