Anyone spray with water injection kit mix from methanol with nitromethane 80/20 and what is result on evo stock engine nozzle is aroind 400cc

The main concern with using any mixture of nitromethane would be your water injection kits ability to withstand the corrosive effect of the nitro.

Nitro simply wont work with Brass or Viton it will kill them in short order.
It's not great with EPDM or Nylon but it will work for short durations.
Santoprene hasn't been rated by the manufacturer for Nitro.

EPDM is commonly used for the pump seals on methanol rated pumps
Santoprene is commonly used for the pump diaphragm on methanol rated pumps
Nylon is commonly used for the pump head on methanol rated pumps
un-plated brass is used by a few kit manufacturers for jets etc...

The main concern with using nitro in a water/meth mix would be effect on Air Fuel ratios and leaning out the motor too much. Think of it as liquid oxygen being added to the combustion process. Too much and you will grenade the engine. (Like using a dry shot of NOS without increasing fueling).

 

I use meth with 18% nitromethane and nor problem with pump at last 2 months....
Power is good but remap is much harder.

 

Nitromethane = poop
