I don't know how many have already heard about this. Apparently a guy from Fontana was shot on the 55 in his silver 05 Sti Saturday afternoon. The police have nothing to go on. This guy was an engineer in Pasadena. That's ****in' scary!!!

yeah how do we not know if this guy was a drug dealer or realted job field....i bet it wasent just becasue he drove an STi....unless someone drivng an Evo did it to take him outta his suffering.

dont know about tht...i heard about some gang in long beach tht will just unload on u if u drive a lowered, blacked out racecars (in other words like our cars)...so i dont know it might have been cuz of his car or not...who knows.

 

I have a friend with a silver 05 Sti that lives in that area. He is not an engineer so that part is good news. I was alil worried.

 

I haven't heard any updates on this. All I remember on the news was that this guy was driving and suddenly veered towards the wall on the right, and ended up at the 55/22 interchange.

His family said he was very kind, didn't do drugs, had a promising future...you know what the family always says. Maybe it was drug related and the family just didn't know.

I kinda thought that maybe he was racing someone and things went bad. The Sti was apparently brand new.

It just scared the crap out of me, because I drive a silver Evo and am an engineer. I'm on the 55 now and again. I tell ya, I've been slightly more cautious about who I mess with on the freeway. So if you got tint and/or look like a thug, don't even bother with me.

Also, on a different topic, has anyone changed their belts (water pump, power steering, etc.)? I've got another thread on this, but no one is responding. I'm just about to 30k. Thanks!

Thanks, that gives the details I couldn't remember. I feel bad now for incinuating that this was drug related. Yes, it's possible, but based on that story I seriously doubt it. This truely is sad
